Flight Map Pro is the only Android app that gives you a real Primary Flight Display (cockpit view) while you fly — using nothing but your phone's GPS. No internet, no Wi-Fi, no subscription. Just your phone, in Airplane Mode.
Unlike Wi-Fi-dependent trackers built into seat-back screens, Flight Map Pro needs no internet, no flight number, and no airline cooperation. Just open the app when you board, set your destination airport, and watch your real-time position, speed, altitude, and ETA update continuously throughout the flight.
The headline feature of the Pro version is the cockpit Primary Flight Display (PFD) — a real instrument panel showing artificial horizon, heading, airspeed, altitude, and 3D terrain, exactly as pilots see it. This is the only Android app offering this view to passengers.
For best results, run the app on the ground before your flight if your device supports A-GPS (Assisted GPS). This allows the device to pre-download satellite position data, making it much faster to acquire signal once airborne. A window seat gives the strongest GPS reception.
